Michigan Mysteries
Author, shipwreck hunter, historian and scuba diver Ross Richardson has spent the last decade searching for and documenting shipwrecks in the Manitou Passage and off the coast of West Michigan. He has had the privilage of working with shipwreck hunting legend David Trotter, and Ralph Wilbanks and captain Steve Howard of Clive Cussler’s NUMA (National Underwater and Marine Agency) Team. He has also extensively researched the legend, the history and his predecessors’ search efforts to discover the Westmoreland.
Ross, a Lake Ann, Michigan resident and is a volunteer librarian at the Almira Township Library, a diver on the Benzie Area Public Safety Dive Team; a Benzie County Sheriff’s Department Special Deputy.
Ross is currently doing presentations on the discovery of the Westmoreland, the shipwrecks discoveries off Sleeping Bear Point, and Michigan Mysteries, unsolved mysteries in the State of Michigan.
